Tie on Buttons
Available in Size 28,36 44. Suitable for cushions.
Tie-on buttons are used for deep buttoning and tufting in upholstery, such as sofas, chairs, and headboards.
They are attached by thread or twine pulled through the padding and secured at the back, creating a deep, professional finish.
They are strong, long-lasting, and ideal for thick padding and traditional upholstery work.
Nail on Buttons - Suitable for headboards
Available in size 28. Length of nail 15mm or 20mm
Nail-on buttons are used in upholstery to add a decorative finish to furniture such as chairs, benches, and headboards.
They are fixed in place by hammering the built-in nail directly into the frame or backing.
Prong Buttons
Available in size 28 only.
Prong buttons are used in upholstery for chairs, benches, headboards, and decorative panels.
They have metal prongs on the back that push through the fabric and fold over to hold the button in place.
Prong buttons are commonly used for:
- Upholstered furniture – chairs, sofas, benches, and stools
- Headboards – especially for deep buttoning (tufting)
- Light upholstery projects where sewing or tying is not required
