How does the expansion work?
An expansion zip adds 3cm in depth, increasing capacity from 40L to 46L. This is useful when returning with more than you packed. Note: when expanded to 23cm depth, the case may exceed the overhead size limit for some airlines — use the expansion for checked travel or where your airline permits the slightly larger size.

Is polycarbonate a good material?

What does the 5-year warranty cover?
The Samsonite 5-year limited global warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — longer than the 3-year warranty standard for most luggage brands. It does not cover airline damage. If your bag is damaged during a flight, report it directly to your airline before leaving the airport.
