Frequently Asked Questions

What size laptop does this fit?
The padded compartment accommodates laptops up to 17.3 inches — one of the largest laptop sizes available. This covers the vast majority of business and gaming laptops, including most 15–16" MacBook Pro and Dell XPS models.

Is this a cabin bag or checked luggage?
This is a cabin bag designed for carry-on use. At 45×35×20cm it meets the overhead locker dimensions for most major airlines. It is not designed or sized for checked baggage.

Can I attach this to my suitcase?
Yes — the trolley strap on the back slides over the handle of a rolling suitcase, so you can stack it on top of your checked bag and roll both together through the airport.

Is this suitable for daily commuting as well as travel?
Yes — the Guardit 3.0 is designed as a mobile office. The padded laptop compartment, document section, and multiple pockets make it equally practical for daily commuting, meetings, and business trips.

What does the 2-year warranty cover?
The Samsonite 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects. Retain your proof of purchase and contact Samsonite or an authorised retailer to make a claim. The warranty does not cover airline damage — if your bag is damaged during a flight, report it to your airline before leaving the airport.

Is it made from sustainable materials?
Yes — the outer shell is crafted from recycled polyester, made from post-consumer plastic bottles. This is part of Samsonite’s broader commitment to reducing virgin plastic use across its product range.
