Is this cabin luggage or checked baggage?
This is checked baggage only. At 78.5cm it significantly exceeds all airline cabin baggage size limits and must be checked into the hold.
How does the expansion work?
An expansion zip around the perimeter of the case adds approximately 2cm in depth, increasing capacity from 104L to 118L. This is ideal when returning with more than you packed, or packing bulkier items like winter coats. Note that expanding may push the case over some airlines’ size limits — always check before checking in.
What is the difference between softside and hardshell?
Softside suitcases like the Cloudrider are made from flexible polyester fabric, which is lighter and allows more give when packing — you can squeeze in slightly more than the stated capacity.
